I like watching abandoned engineering but must have been made in america as hate when the presenter mispronounce name of places and even the Germany language too ...
got annoyed with the one on tonight on Guernsey whooo what are these strange concrete building what are these mysteries writing they looked like the head office of the Easter island statues
duh they are Germany second world war bunkers ,look out tower, gun emplacement and the like soooo not mysteries well interesting yes but just play it straight and say so

Yes, that kind of teasing presentation is annoying when it’s self-evident what something is. I visited one of the gun emplacements on Guernsey - and the underground hospital.
The history of the German occupation is fascinating, though.

Netflix just did that movie about a book club during the occupation. It's a romance film, it looks like. My mother loved it.
