    Cormorants are the only webfooted birds who perch. On their spring and fall migrations they stop near my house for a week or two. There are four power lines across the river and that is where they perch. They are gone now, but the evidence of their visit is clearly visible on the walkway.

    They are becoming super common in the city.Not many prairie dogs left anywhere, but lots of jackrabbits, plus cats and dogs in the city.

    Sponges and corals on the wreck of the German WWII freighter, the Antilla,. The wreck goes from a depth of 45 feet at the stem, top 65 feet at the stern. These wer towards the stern , a little in front of the engine room.
