Caught this Blue Heron just chilling yesterday. He was polite enough to let me take the picture before he flew off.

I saw a bald eagle yesterday but it spooked before I could get a picture. Massive bird. Really impressive.

About a month ago, I heard my crows making a ruckus, so I looked outside and there was a large juvenile red tail hawk high up in the cedar tree across the street. It's a tall tree, so these are zoom shots.

Crappy pic but had to take it quick before it flew away so no time to focus.

Heard a tapping sound at my window and saw this Magpie looking in at me

"Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!" I shrieked, upstartng
"Get thee back into the tempest and the nights Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that like the soul has spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken! Quit the bust above my door!
Take the beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door"
    Quoth the magpie "Never more!"
