    Hmm,
Funny how many pieces you like I actually had.
Longines Legend Diver, Pan Europ, Tudor Pelagos.... Then I got Tudor Heritage Monte Carlo that I'm actually wearing today.
I was this close to buy Pontos few months back.
Unfortunately I never tried Black Bay even though my favorite look is a vintage.
Also, I had this year everything from Omega Planet Ocean XL 2500, XL 8500 and finally few months back 42mm PO 8500.

I was enjoying all this pieces until I got my first Rolex, Seadweller 16600.
After that I stopped having to much interest in anything but Rolex.
Traded SD for GMT Master ll, tried Explorer 2 for a short time and finally I was at the crossroad between DSSD or Sub C.
DSSD was my long term goal, my grail but for every day watch it was just to big.
So I went for Sub C and I can honestly say it is the finest and most wearable piece I ever had.
After weeks of wearing today I decided I have to give some of my other watches a chance.
So I'm wearing as we speak
    Tudor

I also love this 2 pictures.
    They came out great.
Your BB reminds me of Sub C.
Your awesome little unpacking/review prompted me to instead selling perhaps trading my Monte Carlo for Black Bay.

    Thanks and keep it coming.

    Roberto

    Tx

Robert, it seems our tastes are pretty similar when it comes to watches...... It wouldn't surprise me if my Black bay is the last stop before buying my first Sub C, what doe you think?

I really like the Black Bay red or blue. It's on my shortlist.

Nice review. I actually took a day after seeing all the variations of the Black Bay and the Pelagos and then went back and made a decision. The rendering of the blue Pelagos solves my issue with it (well it would still have that ridiculous clasp) in that is is too dull and grey. In my eyes the blue BB looses it's vintage feel so it goes better with the bracelet that is a tad too modern looking for the red. So I choose the red on a strap since it conveyed more what I like which I call modern vintage. The strap for the blue variation is not as distressed as the black one on the red to the point it makes the watch look very modern. The strap with deployant also make for a very light weight package. There are arguments for each set up, so these are just my ramblings. This was a gift from my wife:

    Cheers,

    Michael

Tell everyone you saw it on IWL!

I think it's a great position to ease to Rolex.
I mean, you need to try it no matter.
Maybe for you Tudor will get more interesting but you certainly need to try it.
    Good luck

Congrats, that's very nice, and I nominate those as the best pics on IWL!
Is it really only 10mm thick? Looks quite thick in the profile pics.

You are right, Glenn, it is 13mm, not 10mm.

Very nice! I went to try the Black Bay on a few times. It's right up there at the top of my list!
