I should stop by my AD and take a gander at the Cellini's one of these days. Nowadays I don't typically go that dressy but if I recall there is a model or two that one could probably play either way, at least into dress casual territory.

Personally, I wouldn't get the new OP. Lack of easylink is a deal-killer for me.
How about a YM II?

I've never really paid any attention to the Yachtmaster II. I'll have to look it up. That colour combination wouldn't be the one for me, but I can see that looking pretty smart in a bit more subdued finish. That's the 116681?

I tried the yellow gold one on. It was awful.

It's the 116680.
Honestly, it doesn't look bad in person. It's just too big for me...and I can't deal with the "yachmaster" on the bezel.

Really? I liked it a lot. A heavy chunky hunk of gold. I only like it in yellow gold. Not a fan of the others.

I kind of hate yellow gold. And it reads terribly on my skin.

I'm not a lot of of help but I am a big fan of no date watches. Some watches can pull it off, like the Monaco, if it doesn't interrupt the symmetry. Anymore I look at my watches that have a date and wish it wasn't there. Why don't more companies follow the Rolex model of offering watches with and without dates?

I think Nomos has examples of date (datum) and no date versions of some watches.
