    After years of work

    To make my wife appreciate quality mechanical timepieces in a mere three days I may have turned her in to a Swatchaholic. On Friday after Chateau d'Ivoire and the Rado service centre we visited the Swatch store. She decided she liked one but wouldn't buy it. Went back today and picked it up. While it was being sized I grabbed a catalogue and gave it to her. Next thing I know, she's asking about another...

    No, she has a pretty fierce collection of Rado's and never joined there either.

    Uh, er...nice work? Well, at least they are Swatches and nothing too costly I guess. Wouldn't want to budget for two the way we crazy kids around here spend.

    That is the good part. The last watch she got before the Swatch might be the most expensive watch in the house, in terms of actual cost to us.
