Like wise Tino. Chris (muddy250) gave me the heads up on this place

Mid-size is best to my eye. These things are so comfortable it's not even funny.

Just got the 8500 black, I think it might make the 2500 redundant. Undecided as of yet.

I really like the double markers at 12 on the older AT.

If I ever need to justify (to myself) why I am in this hobby, I simply pick up this watch. As far as I'm concerned this is pretty close to being a perfect watch design by Omega.

    Aqua Terra - optimus classis

This is close to the ultimate "boring black watch"
    Perfectly balanced and classic!
The blue and silver sunburst dials are classy as well.
A railmaster would be awesome in the 8500, can't believe it does not exist. A worthy explorer alternative.

Beautifully propertioned and with lovely non-raised markings making it a little less dressy than the current version.

Also the design is not compromised by a date window, something Omega have seemingly forgotten but which Rolex still care to do.
