**** Well some time an ultra affordable is needed ****

well some time an ultra affordable is needed maybe kids got's to have new shoes the car need's new tyres etc etc : so what is the best you can get for say £40 quid not a lot but that is the point.

So second hand you can grab some really good stuff if you know what you are looking at and how to clean up a DNA encrusted watch ( will have to do a thread on it next time I get one waiting to see if I just snag a job lot might be something there maybe do a before and after ) so for this exercise shall we stay to new

How about we go three fields more can be add if you think of them :

    Classical :

    Field :

    General :

I have one for the classical saw a rather nice for the money Accurist the fit and finish ant bad I have a few that have stood the test of time and are still ticking months and years on and still looking decent

so for the classical one here it is pics was hard to get but looks a lot better in the flesh if they go on sale I will get one just to show

so spec's not much but here they are

For everyday, I'd say a Timex Weekender would be hard to beat

Casio are more robust in my experience. Both my boys and I have broke Timex and we moved on to Casio.

EF-503, there are at least 7 versions......here are some of them:

There is also a black/gold version and an Antique White version

MDV-106......the screaming best deal on the planet at $38.

yes the mdv would be grand as a general but for over here what with p+p and vat +charges it would not be viable for the affordable £40
as think amazon has not got that model anymore (could be wrong ) as have not saw it

At UK prices, Timex seem to have the market covered -
