Yeah, I saw the "wind" knob thing and thought maybe it had a hand-wind movement. Cool either way.

The knobs on the clock are meant to replicate the knobs that would have been found on an actual cockpit clock from days gone by -- hence, the "wind" knob.

If you like that idea, you should perhaps seek out (ebay/google) a "MIG cockpit clock".. There are some really cool (I think anyway) NOS examples out there and you can also buy a folded metal stand for them.
Watch out though prices can vary dramatically!
