    Raising Arizona is a great movie, but the real laughs for me it is of course the Big Lebowski!

    I agree with you. Both Coen Brothers films. And, yes, I consider The Big Lebowski, not just one of the best comedies ever, but one of the best films ever.

    Whenever the subject of favourite films comes up, Jaws is the only non-Cohen that gets into my top three with Miller's Crossing usually in the top spot when it isn't out-jostled by Lebowski.

    It's double-edged, though. The feelings of horror, disappointment and betrayal I felt stumbling from the Cinema after Ladykillers were tough to bear.

    The original was fantastic. The Cohen Brothers version was excruciatingly bad.
