    Hand lenght question

The Mercedes hour hand appears on several different models with different case dimensions and face sizes.
One point that is often raised is the hour hand looks short on the Explorer 1 in the 39 mm size case.
Does anyone know the actual lenght of the hour hand used of the various models. To my untrained eye they do look similar lengths on all the models but in my reading only the Explorer 1 comes in for stick for the hand being short.

Is the face wider than on the dive watches, having no dive bezel?
