    That is a work of art. Amazing and gorgeous.

    Jeanette made all 3 beds, their cloth covers, mattress, pillows, etc, table cloth, stair runner, and she painted and wallpapered everything. Since I'm the big strong man of the house I handled the heavy lifting, construction, assembly, trim, finishing, etc.

    Happy New Year everybody.
    @chuckmiller, that's quite a masterpiece. Impressive!

    We flew to NY to visit my parents for Christmas. This was Sofi's first time playing in the snow. We were lucky, we timed the trip just right to avoid weather delays, but yet we still had some nice snow even before the storm. This day was just warm enough to make for "packy" snow to build her fist snowman. Couldn't have asked for a better first snow experience for her. My parents got her the snow pants (good thing!)

    Then later in the week my parents treated us to a horse drawn slight ride through the woods.

    She looks a little dubious about touching that horse/pony.

    Maybe it was the moment I captured the image, but she was definitely not at all afraid of the horse. After the ride, we fed the horses, but I didn't get photos because I was holding her. We've been watching "Spirit: Riding Free" a lot on Netflix. She loves horses. We just took her to a petting zoo on NYE and she was crazy for the animals (not even a bit afraid), she didn't really pet them, but had to touch every animal as fast as she could. It was quite a joy to see her joy.
