No, it's not. But it's tall enough and white enough to be quite legible without taking your attention away from the rest of the watch.

The watch watcher
That thing is gorgeous and the elegance makes my Geographic look rather homely and unnecessarily busy (for my use). I think you may be correct in that it is a perfect travel watch for many people. I like the fact the Aston logo is discreet and perfectly worked into the dial with the JLC logo. Great watch and thanks for introducing me to a watch I had somehow missed.
