Well got a 3056 quartz movement looks ok but can't seem to get it to work ?



not my pic but same ..

any thoughts on things to try ?

Stick it on a demag but DON'T pull it away?
I've read this makes the hands spin round to "unstick" any old oil.

Note: I have only read this on various forums and have no idea if it is safe.

have not got a demag but the hands move freely to change time I am using an ag12 battery would this be right

From the pics I've seen, looks like flat side down although they are 3056a but I presume they are the same.
