Thanks, I think I'll stick with my Duntechs. They only weigh 360 lbs. Featherweights by comparison, and almost 100th the price.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

The speakers are 155K, the entire system price was quoted prior.

@wschofield3 OK, understood. Ya never know with the high end folks. My setup is optimized for mastering, one of my major job activities. I paid about a fifth of the original value with Cardas cables, Duntech Sovereigns and (previously) Levinson 333 amplifier, switched out to Parasound for multiple reasons. Sadly I need to make a living with this stuff so I remain a value hunter, but I know what I like! I doubt I will ever hear a better match than the Levinson 333 with the Duntechs, but the Levinson used 500 Watts just idling, and started drooling tar all underneath it on the carpet as the vibration mounts started to melt. I sacrificed the best amp in my life for energy and rotting plastic.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Yes, the transformer pads do that, unfortunately. Do you still have the amp?
