No idea who makes it. It's Maui Divers' (jewellers) house brand. Ceramic case and bracelet with hidden butterfly clasp. Gold-plated accents. Screw-down crown. Sapphire crystal. Swiss quartz chrono (probably Ronda) movement. Diamond-and MOP dial.

What's not to like? It has good specs, it's pretty and it will remind you of a great vacation. Even just a bit Tudor-esque. I'm guessing it probably cost less than a taxi ride to the airport (maybe that's not saying it's cheap...)
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Getting ready for business travel this week, so I'll spend a couple days with Ludwig before putting all the watches away in a safe place. On a whim, sometimes I anthropomorphize my watches a bit. "Ludwig" sounds so masculine but somehow this watch seems more like Katherine Hepburn to me, a bit of a sexy tom-boy, slender vintage-modern and stylish, but not all glammed up. I know, I'm a bit odd.

Mahalo nui! The only spec it's weak on is water resistance, at only 30m. However, that's ok since it's a souvenir piece and I didn't intend it to be a watersport watch anyway. The really cool thing is, that the centre-seconds' chrono hand ticks like a mechanical watch and not a quartz.

Beautiful Pogue! Would you mind sharing where you got the aftermarket bracelet from? I'd love one for my own 6139!

    Thanks,
    Sherry.

Of course Sherry. I bought it from UncleSeiko over at the SCWF, he's also selling them on eBay ,but it's cheaper to buy direct, just search on watchrecon to get the details and his email.

It's got solid links but folded end links, and soooo many adjustment holes on the clasp. I really like it so far.
