    Breitling in the cockpit

Obligatory photos of the B-1 in the cockpit, as promised...

    Takeoff time!

You can't tell, but the Boston skyline is just to the right, being blurred out by one of the propellers:

Q: What's the difference between a pilot and a jet engine?
A: A jet engine stops whining when the plane shuts down.

Q: How do you know if there is a pilot at your party?
    A: He'll tell you.

    Q. How do you know your date with the fighter pilot is half over?
    A. He says "but enough about me - wanna hear about my plane?"

Thank you. And yes, I had just come in after my pre-flight check outside. And imagine doing that in the Boston winter, in an open airfield with the wind and snow (230/3, if I remember right).

There's a version of that last one for tenors: "but enough of me - what do *you* think about my voice?"
