Case is easy except for one screw refuses to come out on caseback.
Movement still works.
Dial used to be silver. Can't find one cheap.
Crystal. Can't find one cheap.

yeah was thinking professionally done remember one of the members kev had a lovely old watch it had been well loved belong to his granddad I think it was and it was in a bit of a tired state but you could see the inner beauty of the watch well he and I could and when it came back the transformation was striking.
Is it the dial or the crystal that is damaged had one that I thought the dial was a right off but when opened up it was in a good shape and the crystal was shot have you ever thought of trying to make your own crystal remember not sure if it was here or there but a lad came on to the mwc thread with one of the mwc watches with a busted crystal and he had made a new one for it himself made it a lot thicker and edged if I remember right

If I could get a dial and crystal for a decent price (and get the last pesky screw out maybe with alum) I would be ok doing all the work myself except for the movement service.
Crystal cracked. I suspect old gaskets and the crack allowed moisture in and turned the dial green.
Intrigued by the diy crystal although not for this watch.
Enough OT.
Love your blue dial above.

yes will try and hunt up the link but just trying to remember which thread it was on weather here or across the road think he did a good few pics on it
yes my blue dial it's a looker gone for a rad case and a skeleton movement
here the parts just need a strap for it
