    I wouldn't call it a copy... The Omega has a two tone dial, a much bigger seconds subdial and, truth be told, this type of design - quite common during a certain period of time - was reproduced with little nuances by a plethora of other brands. However, I think its fair to say that Hentschel looked for a 40s-50s style/design and, IMO, they succeeded.

    I love a good, stark black/white contrast. I find white on black to be not only the most legible combination, but also one of the most pleasing to the eye. Add in fantastic proportions, big, fat indices, and chunky hands, you have one of my favorite dials:




    Another in a line of gorgeous white on black dials is the insanely legible and lovely Speedmaster.

    Always liked the simplicity of the Flieger dials. This handwind Stowa was sold to a local friend.
