Welcome. This place is different, and thanks to the members I've learned a great deal about Rado here. I'm beginning to feel a little left out not owning one.
    Cheers,

    Michael

Tell everyone you saw it on IWL!

Wasn't at all keen on Rados until I saw a 1960's Green Horse. It's definitely a left-field brand but it grew on me. Rados now make up nearly half of my collection with a 2:1 ratio of vintage:modern.

Their comparative lack of popularity (compared to Omegas, etc.) mean that well-made watches can be had for less-than-crazy money. Just beware all the FrankenRados.

Oh yes! My wife and I love to dive (and we are getting our kids certified within the next year - they are snorkeling maniacs, and have done a few snuba dives as an introduction).

Beautiful pic...have never gotten the opportunity to dive in Maldives, but WOW!!!...it's definitely on my wish list!!!

I'm a total newby as well, with just a few posts more than you, but welcome to IWC.

Hiya Frank. I missed your post here but noticed your Eterna in WRUW the other day. I think you'll find it welcoming and friendly here.
