    It's funky Friday again, but I have chosen something from the pre-funk Rado era. I don't think any watch more clearly evokes 1965 for me than the Manhattan. I look at it and see pre-hippy sharp dressed men walking streets full of skyscrapers with Plymouth Satellites and Ford Falcons parked all over the place.

    The Manhattan had a true depth rating of 750+ feet with a snap on back and no screw down crown. Sometimes old tech is good tech.
