    Back after a long break

Hey all!.... been worrying about other stuff than watches ...and TBH it kinda works for me... I think I am pretty comfortable with my Explorer 99% of the time.......
I really need some advice form the IWL collective....
I have really tried to rotate.... tried to fall in love with some old favourites... but it doesn't seem to be working.....anyone else there/been there?..... what has worked for you?

Welcome back and nice to meet you, I'm in charge of this forum now.
Looks like a serious collection -- what's that in the second row from the top, rightmost?

(One of my statements above might not be exactly true).

Yep, looks like my kind of watch.
It's listed everywhere as 42mm -- is it the size of the case or the overhanging bezel?
(Sorry, but it really picked my interest and while you're back here, why not ask).

I am also dreadful at photography .

You, me and @I-B should establish an elite photography club.

LOL on the photo skills... Bulova? it's 42mm at it's widest

I will add the list of what they are.... the bottom row are my granddad's watches.... the Oris wasn't salvageable but I had the Services restored...the Tudor is spoken for ....

I’ve been where you are. I had the perfect solution.

I sold everything I no longer wore. Period. Got rid of all my micros, all my watches I kept because “Well, I may need this for....”, and everything in that vein. I took that money and got something I loved.

So I suggest you give me your GMT Master and sell the rest.

I think that's where I'm going (except the GMTIIc gifting part ).... that being said the GMTIIc is probably on the chopping block too..... would probably trade for an older model Rolex..... or most likely a 38.5mm AT....
Like I said the real pain is not in the disposal per se...it's in the stress of photography and the Muppet show that I will have to endure on the sales forums..... (not here of course because everyone is lovely )

You know it!.... I had no idea the Explorer would be "the one" .... took me entirely by surprise...... no complaints from me other than I have landed myself in this predicament

I totally understand that. I’m getting ready to sell some stuff and I just can’t bring myself to go through the rigmarole. One of the reasons you should just give the GMTII to me.
