An outstanding winner, and one that demonstrates the value of the competition.

Geoff has already awarded the gold badge that will go to multiple winners, and the prize will be on its way once I have contact details.

Thank you to everyone who took part, with special thanks to ismy.

Thank you to all who voted for the Timex throughout the competition. I'm truly flattered to come out on top as there were some excellent pieces in the running, and was convinced the 'mechanicals' would win through. It seems there's something magical and endearing (not to mention nostalgic) about those little red glowing digits.
Special thanks to Alan: Not only for being a firm supporter of the Timex, but for generously offering a prize to the winner. (PM to follow.)
Above all - Many thanks to ISMY for all the time & effort of putting it all together and making it such fun.

The good-natured spirit of the competition is absolutely brilliant; I mean: I even had offers of the right batteries if I couldn't source any..... Where else would you get that ?

Oh.... and, apologies for giving extra work to whoever had to re-do the winning badge

Once again, thanks to all concerned. That's a very well deserved winner amongst a ridiculously strong field. More to the point, it's been a great deal of good natured fun and has been an excuse to discover quite a few fascinating watches we'd never have noticed without the competition.
