Thanks Dan,
Haven't opened the caseback Dan. I do know it's a 1 jewel so more than likely a EB8810 . ?? but for $16.80 USD & it works now ( my watchmaker got it ticking away) but didn't ask him what it was.
EDIT; yes it's an EB8810
The ad says It was made in Switzerland, imported by the Worldwide Watch Company and marketed under the "Heritage" brand name.

yes think your right it would be a pretty standard one the EB8810 had it in a couple of lucernes and a timewatch and a seawatch ... and I would not be surprised if my cardinal and sicura did not have it too as far as I know was used in a lot of old divers

I like how they made it easy to replace the mainspring. It looked like they planned on their watches lasting for a long time!

I am guessing that times were different back then. A watch like this probably wasn't going to give you stellar timing, but if you showed up a few minutes early, all was good. In addition, it is not like you are spending the big $$ to get a fully jeweled movement.
Even I wore a Timex which had a movement that was not much better than this in terms of technical specs.
