This four month old rescue kitty will be joining us as soon as he gets snipped. Currently his name is Javier. He is a super confident, bouncy little time bomb. We generally pick the cat that seems like it is the most trouble. This policy has served us magnificently over the years, rewarding us with companions who have loads of character.

Adorable!
All of the cats and dogs I have had were rescues. Of our current cats, the first one was chosen because when I opened up his cage, he crawled onto my shoulder and made himself at home. The second cat was listed as a trouble maker. She lives up to it, but has more personality as a result.

Most of our cats have been rescues or unclaimed strays. The one cat we currently have is feral who would never have survived as such.
This little fella is adorable. He's super curious and ridiculously confident, springy, bouncy , jumpy feisty and a little bit bitey. We'll work on the bitey thing. We've had to do it beofre and it was worth it. I do think he will be by far the smallest male cat we have ever had. His paws are not nearly as large as any of our male cats.
