    Movies

Anyone seen any good ones of late? Intersteller, gone girl, fury? All 3 on my watch list, when I get some spare time...

This past weekend I saw Fury. It was exactly what I expected. Lots of gore and shooting. My wife was put off by the amount of F bombs but that didn't bother me. Overall it was a pretty good movie I think. Nothing spectacular but not a horrid movie either.

Enjoyed Gone Girl. I've only heard good things about Interstellar but not sure I can handle two and a half hours of Mcconaughey.

Off to see Nightcrawler tomorrow though, which looks pretty good.

On a long flight back from Europe, I watched Edge of Tomorrow and Lucy. Despite reviews to the contrary, I hated the former and enjoyed the latter.

I think Scarlet Johansson may have something to do with that.

Gandhi was the last film I saw in the cinema, but I just fell out of the habit of going to the cinema. They were in decline, at that time in the UK. I never got back into the habit when the new generation of cinemas came along.

I do buy a DVD once in every five years or so.

Lucy had potential but became ridiculous...but Scarlett - mmmm...Even her voice alone in 'Her' got me all hot and bothered.
