    Same madness, different location

Thought I'd better stop by and say hi.
I'd drifted away from the old place over the last few months and was pointed in this direction by a mutual friend so I look forward to the fresh feel of a new community.
I'm still collecting vintage Rados although, as I fine tune my collection, the acquisitions have slowed down.
Btw, it's good to see so many Brit watch fanatics here as other fora often make us feel like the crazy outcast cousins compared to the multitude of Americans.

Hello Scott! Lots of Brits here indeed - whilst I can't confirm my personal agenda, I did want to name this place watchesinnit.co.uk, and whilst that was overruled, our UK-targeted marketing seems to be working

Do you know Henry Krinkle? He likes vintage rados too.

Thanks for the welcome Geoff, I know Henry well, it was actually him that pointed me to have a look at IWL.

    Welcome Scott,

I've been looking at vintage Rado quite often, but never actually bought one. Seeing a beautiful Brienzer here on the forum might tip the scale.

    Regards,

    Martin

    I take you're referring to Henry's Breinzer?
I mainly focus on the scratchproof models but I'm finding the Steelers more and more appealing these days.

Yes I think it was. Loved the case shape and the way the bracelet connected, and the almost strange 'window' to the dial

It feels like The Beatles, all over again.
