I'm sorry to say but it's a fake I think. The back plate is nowhere near close to being genuine. Also I cant see a bar above "L M H" to indicate the battery level.
Looks like a cobbled together copy. Alot of little things just dont add up. Wrong fonts, wording, model number.
Glad you're getting a refund.

Opus
The back plate is labeled "GW-329"
Usually a GW is a solar/atomic model.
No such G-Shock as a GW-329
Also the pushers are shaped differently than any I have seen.
It is a fake

Genuine Casio newbs question 101: Are all the genuine model numbers 4 digit then ?
or have I just jumped one conclusion too far , too fast ?

On the dial alot of the wording is wrong. Either out of place or just "made up". Has Receiving indicator but isnt a waveceptor or multiband. Two right hand buttons are mislabeled. No bar indicating battery level, etc.
The back plate looks cheaply pressed. I dont think there a module 3291, there is no GW329, casio doesnt stamp double rings on the back, and it should say "Made in ####"
I probably missed a few mistakes but those things tell me it's fake.

the first thing for me was quality just did not look g worthy / the neg read out seem off, the dial colours / print quality seem not there the overall quality looked very cheap .. not that up on ALL the model codes but my gut was not happy with it
