What started my interest in watches

I remember the day like it was yesterday. I was watching a movie called The Skulls:



A part came where the pledges were issued a nice new watch. I was astonished to see the most stunning watch that I've ever seen. It was the Breitling Old Navitimer:



After that the search began. I've never gotten that Breitling Old Nav but I have owned 10 other Breitling watches and now my collection consists of over 30 really great watches. Not all of them expensive but all of them important to me in some way. One day I'll own the Breitling Old Navitimer and my collection will be complete. I won't stop hunting for watches and the Old Navitimer more than likely won't be my everyday watch. But it's the one that started it all for me.

    missed this before very nice watch and story of how it all started with me can't really remember how it start for me probably my old grandfather smith long service watch started it maybe not sure now but yes thanks looks like you are going to lead me down memory lane for a while thinking of which was my first watch so cheers for that
