I wonder if the bronze metal has a coating?

Saw this on FB and traced it down to the Zenith site.

At first, I thought it was huge, but the website lists it at 46mm. That is big, but not as big as made on the picture.

The movement, according to the Zenith website, is their Elite 679 automatic.

At 25.6mm in diameter, that is a pretty big spacer ring they are using.

Size not withstanding, I still am debating if I like the Pilot look with the small seconds subdial or the central second hand. That said, I really do like the dial/hands combo.
