I used to be completely against 3-6-9-12 dials, thought they were just useless. Then, Orient Mako. Don't know why this one over any other, but it changed my outlook.

556i. Every time I put this watch on after not wearing it for a week or two, I like it all over again. How I feel about beer, too.

I said "Do it!" just based on the thread title, but then when I saw that you are talking about one of my favorites that I haven't had the chance to own (yet), I'm saying it and meaning it. Love this...
Been spending a lot of time lately with this bad boy. Hamilton khaki field auto 38.

Found this at Walmart for $11.00 USD. Nothing special, but it does basic digital functions and is the most legible digital I've seen at an affordable price point. I think part of what makes it...
Nice looking piece. Congratulations!
I don't know from perfect, but I know from favorite. I agree Aqua Terra is a great watch, and if you have only one, this is an excellent choice.

I think it's very cool when you figure out what it is that you like, and then you can get rid of everything that's not working as well for you. I'm still in the middle of sorting it all out, but I...
Good political and military overview of WW1. I'm always fascinated at how in the middle of all these wars (WW2 no different), people are angling to get a little extra something at the end for...

I like that the diamond bits move freely within the window. Makes me think that you could make one with some kind of ball-in-a-maze game. Something to amuse when you're tired of staring at the time.
I like the name "cemento". It's evocative of...well...cement, I guess.
Agree that lug to lug makes a really big difference. Congratulations on the new pickup!

Explorer II Polar rounds out the collection better I think, but it seems like you have a strong preference for the Sea Dweller. Get the one you like most, or you'll end up being sad :(

This watch does not care about anything other than itself. It's just there, telling the time.
