The Seiko SSC017 again today. I'm drinking coffee on the porch in the shade. It's another beautiful, sunny and cool day here in southern New England. Have a good one, all. ...
Me too. The Pepsi-dial GMT is one of my all-time favorites. Beautiful watch.
Happy Saturday, all. Getting ready for apple picking with the family this morning. I love the fall!

That's really cool. It explains what it attempts to explain really well, and I just learned about the Great Attractor. Strange and awesome.
Wow. Seems he got it for a song.

Just bought a SSC017. The excuse was I needed a watch for the gym. Non-mechanical and sweat proof. It's an amazing watch for the money. I get all of the Seiko love now. Sized the bracelet and...
Do Seiko rubber(?) dive straps break in? Or do they remain stiff and inflexible?
The usual suspects, as I recall. Good luck. What's been going on in IWL land for the last four or five months? I moved out of NYC. Living back in New England. After 8 years in Metropolis, the suburbs...
Sorry to hear that. School?
What's new, IWL?
Good morning, all. What a few weeks it's been. Got my black and blue Chanel J12 Marine Diver back from service and I'm happy to be wearing it again. Looked so good on the night stand this morning I...
Thanks. That makes me feel better, actually.
The trial's over. We reached a unanimous verdict in just a couple of hours. I wasn't happy about it (felt...guilty about it, actually, no pun intended), but we had to vote not guilty. The prosecution...
I don't think I've ever seen a date window integrated into an index on a dial before. Good looking Seiko here. Many brands reduce the width or size of the index to set the window. This is different....
Notice the little head poking out at the base of the crack in the wall? The longer I stared at them the more I saw. As I mentioned above, I counted six before I pulled myself away, almost having lost...
Definitely garter snakes. It was just a bit unnerving to run into a ruthless pack of them eying me from the wall along the sidewalk, clearly waiting to make their move.
Walked into this daymare on the way home yesterday. I count four heads, but there were definitely at least six snakes. Pretty sure their lair is behind that loose stone.
...
Ha! Wish I'd seen this before the voir dire began. I was the second person called in the morning, was chosen for the jury, and spent the entire day listening to people's increasingly bad excuses for...
Sounds like it could be. I was chosen for the jury, so I hope so.
Both, but especially the diameter. Anything above 42 makes me look (or maybe just feel) silly. My sweet spots are 39 (sports watches) and 36 (dress watches).
Jury duty.
