I decided to cycle through all my vintage watches, so one of my favorites comes early (and will probably tick along with the rest for at least a week, because I have trouble getting it off my wrist.) Longines Ultra-Chron hi-beat from around 1968 which I found last year at an estate sale.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

I'm late today... working on strap orders but still work in progress that's not presentable right now...

this one is made from left over scrap leather that usually either trashed or cut smaller to become strap keepers..
yes it is experimental.. yes it look 'strange'.. yes, it is unusual..
why? i dont know.. either i'm a tasteless cheapskate or just want to save this leather from being trashed..

in my defend, my Timex chrono from Chris need a strap and i like the 'one of a kind' look of the combo..

yup, the stitches hole was there, i just put some stitches on the left over holes.. didn;t know what i'm thinking.. either left it just holes or put thread on them..

yep, i like this Timex.. 40mm, quiet, got indiglo, got 30 min chrono and it is a thoughtful gift from a good friend on IWL..
