Thread: Is your life not complicated enough?

Is your life not complicated enough?

...then sir needs one of these (they're claiming the most complicated ever):

    Hmm, let's see:

    63 horological complications, 2877 components

Chinese perpetual calendar (they say this is a first), including date for each Chinese New Year, plus "the silhouette of the Chinese Zodiac animal for the current year appears in an aperture positioned below the moon phases"

    Gregorian perpetual calendar

Sky chart that makes one complete rotation every sidereal day

Phases and age of the moon (although it will need to be corrected in 3051)

Grand Sonnerie with chimes based on Big Ben's tune (isn't Big Ben just the name of the tower? )

Triple-axis armillary tourbillon regulator with spherical balance spring (don't ask me, I have no idea...)

    Split-second chronograph

Second time zone and world time functions

I'm sure there's more, but I'm already exhausted...

The price? Well, if sir must ask...

I think it's cool. But then, I buy books about complicated watches, so don't trust me
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

That pocket watch requires deep pockets in two ways.

Big Ben is the everyday name for the Great Bell. The tower didn’t have a name other than ‘clock tower’ until it was named ‘Elizabeth Tower’ after Lizzie II.

You'll need the help of the angels if you let that one wind down and get behind.

Yeah, and fair play. You can't afford it and I definitely can't afford it, but someone can, and will enjoy it, and I guess the watchmakers will enjoy making it.
