I was bummed. I wanted that X-Lume. I figure if I’m going to have tritium, it should be lots of tritium!

I suddenly got chills from all the excitement. Whatever could it be?

84 strap case in slate grey is on the way from Amazon. Gallon ziplock bags is a great idea I wish I’d thought of that before ordering the case!

The Farer Chronograph Bernina has arrived. I really liked this one but when I found it, they were sold out. Another batch of 150 just came in. 41mm x 12.9mm (including crystal, wears thinner), Selitta 510 manual wind chrono movement. The main dial is off white with the subs at 3 and 9 being pure white:

Strap needs some breaking in but the color is an excellent match. In bright sunlight, it’s harder to see that the dial is off white:

I would have been fine with a solid caseback, the movement isn’t much to look at other than Farer’s racing inspired plate decor.

I like the lume around the edge of the dial. Also pretty sure they used enough on the hands.

That's a party on the wrist. I love the cheerful color scheme. Farer has been making some great looking watches lately.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Looks great, Ml! Farer has some really nice designs and this is certainly one of them.

Some people are into Rado or Ebel or Rolex or Seiko. It seems I'm into Orient as I just bought my fifth: Orient Ray. This one has tempted me for a long time and I found a price too good to pass up.

I think I might have had at least 10 Orients come and go, two still here ('58 Royal Orient and Somes) but I find them to be one of the best quality best value mechanical watches made these days. Rarely do I consider something to be underpriced for the quality, but Orient is underpriced for the quality. AND their blue sun-ray dials are stunningly pretty!
