    Enlightening, thanks! I guess Fears needed the cheaper option for their pricing/profit formula . . . I do like Rick's suggestion that something around the backside bezel area (even just words) would make for a better look . . .

    Thanks guys! Couldn’t have said it better myself. GS makes really great watches, but this one has always been near the top for me. Simple, elegant and timeless dial, a well proportioned case and a beautifully finished movement. It reminds me of vintage calatravas.
