It literally takes 5 minutes - you buy the dried corn, stick it in a pan with a tiny bit of oil for 5 mins with a lid on, then season it. Trust me, I've done it loads. Well good.

You lost me at “buy dried corn”. That’s already too much work for a non-vegan.

Knife came in. It’s very nice, I’m definitely happy with it. As for the grip issue, it is way grippier than was feared. It looks smooth, but has a very tactile feel. It’s not slippery at all. I like the push opening, too. Very convenient without being try hardy intimidating.

My Allman yellow/black G10 came also early last week. Really surprised how much I used it since it came. Should have had one in my pocket since I moved here. I’ve not really worked out a natural way to open or close it. Kind of more worried about getting cut with the blood thinners, and that I’m a bit more clumsy than I use to be especially closing the knife.

Micro blade should arrive today.

I’ve been practicing opening it myself. Never had a knife with this kind of opening before, other than the micro blade, which is a bit different because it’s so small. Loving the knife so far.

Great looking summer watch! I love white dials for the summer, because all sorts of colorful NATO straps go with it and rarely do you have a color clash.
