I have the stainless steel/rubber rubber strap model. It's a great G-Shock. It is up for consideration as my primary travel watch when I head to Spain to visit my daughter next month. I've been thinking an all resin version might be a little less blingy for travel purposes.

To answer your question, I think it compares well. It is much more substantial and well built than I anticipated with a G-Shock (which I honestly expected to feel toy-esque)

    .... well ... it's wet , not a bad price either
Why would you buy a wet jacket?

That 100-mile long velcro guarantees stealth, too, I recon.

New tropic rubber for my wife's watch. Hoping it's easier (for me!) to keep clean vs the white sailcloth. Props to BP for their sailcloth, it's held up to her abuse and my cleaning.
