I like those Omega Dynamic a lot. Strap looks great on it.

There’s just no telling that the Sectime straps only cost a tenner. I haven’t caught the colour quite right, though. It’s a bit darker and richer.

Thanks! The OM strap was too bulky, the suede strap I bought was too furry, but this one is close to ideal.

I was very lucky to come across this NOS Dynamic. It won’t run for a week without winding at some point, but I always have that problem with 2892 movements, and sitting around in lockdown doesn’t help.

My April fools day answer is "Of course they are". Tune in tomorrow for the truth.

No April Fools here, USPS raced this one coast to coast.

    Thanks, Robert!

Indeed that WAS fast! We have a good post office here. I know most of the workers there by name, as I am there several times a week. Enjoy!
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

And what did you buy today ?

I just bought this at Ashford to chase away the covid blues.

At 28mm wide and 37mm lug to lug it should be fine on my 7.25 inch wrist and only a little smaller than my men’s automatic.

I don’t normally do quartz but absence of a second hand means there won’t be any second hand jump, so only I will know! I’m also keen to see how this looks on a leather strap.

Thanks for the notice on the sale. They are almost giving away straps!

Rob called and said the Omega distribution center was closed today. The Bond SMP300 were suppose to show up at dealers this week. Now that will not be happening. I was shocked they would have been opened until now.

While it would be nice to get something, it’s best that things get contained.
