Bought lots of beauty bark. And there's more to the yard than you can see in that picture.

This Paul Breguette pocket watch arrived today.

I had one extra watch case left. I had been told that it would be difficult to convert this type to a wrist watch because of the unusual movement (Swiss Unitas 6397). This took me just under 2 hours to build taking my time while watching tv so about the normal amount of time. I have always felt this style pocket watch dial just looked right as a wrist watch.

Agree that dial works on a wrist watch. I do feel the hour and minute hands are a bit too ornate for a wrist watch, but perfect for a pocket watch. The difference in my mind is a wrist watch is designed for a quick glance to tell time. A pocket watch must be extracted from said pocket, possibly open a cover, and generally stared at for an extended period of time. This is probably more my mental defect than an issue with the watch.

The start of the new HiFi setup. Highly influenced by Walter.

And about a week ago these Alta Audio Alecs.

Nothing has arrived yet, but they are on the way.

Next step is to get the things that connect those two together plus get a computer connected to the Krell so it has something to play. Then get more somethings to play other forms of music like records and CD plus rout my TV though the Krell.
