What watch would you wear on the moon?
So you've paid your $87 dollars and taken the Manchester-Moon shuttle service and are now in your high-ceilinged beach hut on the Sea of Tranquility, looking out on the lunar terrain, with earth gazing down on you, Pink Floyd on the stereo, sipping a Long Island Ice Tea.
What's on your wrist?

I think it would have to be a Mudman. .with all that dust and all..

Mudman? really? Watch your in all other respects great watch pop from the sealed 1atm of air getting out and the LCD boil off in the vacuum.
The tried and tested option, obviously
A manually wound,Omega Speedmaster with Hasilite crystal of course. on a NASA velco strap.
or an old Waltham, like Dave Scot wore when he broke his speedie's crystal
Or an old Bulova tuning fork, as long as it didn't have to go out side..
Call me an old-fashioned nostalgic
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

You don't have to leave your sealed beach hut if you don't want to. Your holiday

That's a lot of trouble to go to just for a Long Island Iced Tea.
Tell you you what watch I wouldn't wear- something with a moon-phase.

Village Idiot
Are there any watches that have an Earthphase complication instead of a Moonphase?

I was thinking about this - on the moon you're always facing the earth. So the 24 hours we're used to would be the earth phase, wouldn't it? And your moon phase indicator would be telling you about your one long "day" of light and dark
