Tried on the SD4K yesterday but...

First off it's a great watch and feels excellent on the wrist. I just love how the thick sapphire pops out off the bezel in a real 3D kind of way. The bubble case back is very cool. I have to even admit that the bezel action and feel is even better then my GS Diver. The clasp is also miles apart from my GS Diver. I have a lot of good things to say about it. I am even thinking about hunting down a second hand one in the future possibly. With that said...

I noticed something about it and can't get it out of my head. The date window does not look in good symmetry with the dial. Looks a little lower then it should be throwing everything off balance.

It's sort of one of those WIS tiny things that once noticed, it just screams out at me now.

This is not my pic didn't feel the need to take one since SD pics are easily found on Google.

Is it just me or does this bother anyone else or perhaps some like the way the window is positioned. Either way would like to hear your thoughts.

Here's another angle where you can see the off balance.
    Just doesn't look right

Usually you and I are on the same page, JP, but in this case, what you pointed out re: the balance of the date window on the dial, doesn't bother me so much. I think it's just the absence of the cyclops, which doesn't bother me as much as it does some, that makes it more appealing to me.

That would be awesome. I think a SD ND would sell like hot cakes.

I've never paid much attention to the Sea-Dweller, but now you've mentioned it, I agree. Needs a cyclops - or to be missing altogether.

    1. Nothing ever needs a cyclops. They're awful.
    2. I don't see the issue. I think the angle of the watch is causing an optical illusion in the first photo.

Small movement syndrome...it happens to some of the best watches. It seems like this could be down played if they added a small box on the right side of the date like they did on the MKI Pelagos.
