Geoff, any notes on that Haig bottle you have? I see they offer it in the duty free as I travel this weekend, wondering if despite its cologne like appearance if it might be worth a try.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

Notes...hmmm. Maybe you should test my mettle by tasting the Strathisla against my notes first, but honestly? The haig club is a very thin, short finish, low mouthfeel, one of the worst whiskeys (is it even a whisky?) I've ever tasted. Maybe because I haven't tasted that many that are bad, but still.

Der amf said something about a single grain. Does that hold any value?

I'll be home in 30 - fresh taste coming your way soon. Hold fire.

A decent all purpose bourbon. It is on the sweeter side, but nowhere near as sweet as, say, Buffalo Trace.

I know. This is what true British hospitality must feel like.

    The usual. How's the pup?

    It is decent.

It makes good mint juleps. Although it is not really the season for that.
