**** And now for something completely different ****

Well you all know I love Vostok's well think you do by now but some times it is nice to try some thing completely Different. I love art deco and the lavish lines of that period and the design think Hercule Poirot opening credits.

The design classic of the time period well did not think I would find some thing like that in a modern Russian Vostok but I just have and have ordered a VOSTOK BOCTOK SELF-WINDING AUTO MEGAPOLIS WATCH. A what I hear you ask well pics in a minute first some info we all like a bit of it so :

    Features:
    - Automatic VOSTOK self-winding movement 2432 with 32 ruby jewels (no hands winding required, but You can wind up it with winding stem if You have not worn the watch in some time)
    - Totally wound watches run not less than 36 hrs.
    - Shock resistant balance
    - Water resistant
    - Mineral glass
    - Sizes (without the crown): 36x44 mm
    - Case thickness: 11 mm
    - Width of bracelet 16 mm
    - leather bracelet
    - second hand
    - Day/Night indicator
    - Stainless steel rear cap
    - Luminous hands, digits and and arrows
    - Average term of service 10 years
    - user manual in English
    - WE support 1 year manufacture warranty. Comes in the original factory box, passport.

So you don't really want to see the stock pics do you ok ok I guess you do well here they are

Well got it from Chistopol city sale on it so think I got it for a bargain well it will be if I like it 36mm with out crown hmmm got a few that size just hope it wears big

Def unique looking. In a good way. 16mm strap would be a bit thin for me though.

That's an amazing looking case, almost looks like it should be made of bakelite!

Will be a while until you get it?

You had me at John Cleese and Poirot!

Now that would have been interesting, John Cleese in an episode of Poirot!

I've looked at the Megapolis, but never thought of buying. And I had no idea the lugs were 16mm.

Looking forward to seeing your pics when it arrives!

    Randy
