Kienzle (and others) has (have) just been delivered

Not had a chance to check it out or fit a strap, yet; hopefully get the chance later

    Hmmm, it ain't happy ....
... and no quick fix with a few drops of oil on this one
Balance seems ok, but just refuses to run and when I try to wind it the crown/stem just clunks and slips
So, a bit of 'surgery' is in order:

Took me a while, but I've found (at least part of) the problem:

That little circled dot is a bit of grit that has managed to get itself wedged between the mainspring housing and the base plate; this is what's stopping it from being wound.

So there'll be no wrist shot from me for a while with this one and I'll not get the chance to work on it over the weekend.
If I'm holding up the show, I'll go with the Timex which is running beautifully

I do hope so - Will see what I've got once I've cleaned it, oiled it, and back together; I should at least be able to wind it now
