Old but Crafty
Looks like Raketa to me as well. The tower on the case is St Peter and Paul Fortress St Petersburg (which was Leningrad in 1942.)

When did the siege of Leningrad end?

Well i think it's to commemorate the Yakoulev fighter planes maybe .The silhouette of the small plane looks similar to a Yak-9 fighter / bomber from 1942 and i think the other is Yakoulev too . But not 100% on any of this . DW.

premature curmudgeon
Literally: "Fifty years of the aerial army"
(*) "Aerial Army" is in genitive so the endings may not be what appears in a dictionary.
Generally speaking, if it is a piece of military hardware, or a date of military significance, it will have shown up on a watch dial.

Offered here is a Rare Soviet watch Raketa. It was made in 1990's. Are created in the Petrodvortsovsky watch factory. Shock protections. The movement differs by high reliability and technological aspect. A watch is in the good condition. The winding crown is in excellent shape, operating smoothly. The watch is mechanical and completely original. Original "RAKETA" has mechanical lever movement and manual winding.
