i have fluctuated many times in my life from many to few and vice versa - maybe its an age thing now for me , but i think [for myself personally ] having numerous very nice watches [leaving apart from the fact they may hold considerable value ] that it can be frustrating and even stressful for a real WIS making choices on a daily basis what to wear , should i , shouldn't i ? nothing worse than having watches that are not worn . I think probably even for guys with many nice watches ,would generally be wearing their favourites most of the time ,that would be human nature .
If you have unlimited funds and just enjoy owning them as against wearing them that's fine and your prerogative

"enough" watches can vary, to some, 3 is enough, to some 1 is more than enough, others have a collection but at the end of the day we are all different and spend our money in different places on very different things so we simply need to respect each other for that, what is most important is to enjoy life regardless !!

Geez - I'm down to two regularly worn watches! My Doxa and my Tudor. Feels weird...

I can live just fine with only a few. The issue is that I lust after others though. This place doesn't help...

I keep trying to convince myself to get rid of a bunch because I have too many. Bring it down to a handful, then get one really expensive one when I'm out of school.
