    As the title sez.
the 3 brands i keep on running to are:
    Casio (Edifice's and G's)
    Seiko (SARB's, 5's and SSC's )
Swatch ( I love to buy NOS-Swatches, altough i never wear any of them. I have a big pile of Swatches, they are just so much fun to collect )

For many years it was Seiko, but I've been in remission for some time now.

The top two. Seiko Divers and Casio G Shocks. I have 3 of each.

Even a broken watch shows correct time once or twice a day. I ought to know, I have a few!

Seiko and Orient. I like all Seikos, the cheaper the better. For Orient, I prefer Orient Star, though the regular Orient line also has interesting pieces. Still don't know why I don't have a Bambino.

Vostok are definitely my ''scratch the hitch'' watches. Seiko and Citizen also comes to mind, but for around $100, Russians are hard to beat IMO.

Sigh, I keep trying to find go-to affordables I like. Very minimal success, meaning next to none.

Edit: Gave this a bit more thought. Helberg is on the list but his sizes are pretty large especially L2L so only minimal offerings that work for me. Great watches though. I do like Helson and have my second one incoming. Benarus ain't a bad scratch either.
