    One for my Granddaughter

My 4 year old granddaughter Veronica is a very special person in my life. And for some unknown reason Grandpa is a very very special person in her life. There seems to be nobody she's happier to see and hang out with than me (go figure.)
Naturally I'm enjoying this special place as long as it lasts. And I've been thinking if there's something unique I would want to give her someday to remember me by.
I have decided that the best keepsake she could get from me is this 1936 Bulova. It's a lovely art deco piece, has a small 14 mm lug width and dainty strap, and has been restored with new parts. Not an expensive watch but a solid one from the golden age of Bulova wind-ups. I hope she'll love it when she grows up.

Really nice. My Mom did the same for my daughter, but the movement was trashed. I could not find an equivalent so I stuck a quartz in it. The things you do to keep the peace.

    Nice job Ray!

It looks like 'brand new', knowing how much you appreciate watches, I'm sure she'll appreciate this gift.
