Catalogs
Who requests them? They're free from just about any manufacturer I've found. I request them all, just for fun. Muhle Glashutte came today:

Always fun to get a catalog in the mail. Much less depressing than all the other stuff.

Oh, man, I got catalogues going back to around 2001 when I started in the industry. They do take up a bit of space. Still, some of them, like IWC and Jaeger-Le Coultre are like art books.

I find it odd how the manufacturers decide whether to send a catalog or not. Over the year I have requested a bunch of catalogs and probably have received about 30% of them. The last ones I "ordered" was last year and the JLC and Panerai showed up in less than a week, the other 4 I ordered never showed up.
ALS Blancpain Breguet Hamilton IWC JLC Omega Panerai Patek Rolex Tag Tudor Seiko Sinn UN Vacheron
It's wack if it don't say Patek!

The one yesterday came in about two weeks. I have a Longines Catalog that took so long I forgot I had ordered it. Omega was the same. The Muhle Glashutte catalog also shipped from florida, which I found odd.

Guess I am pretty lucky.... There are a number of boutiques around my office, and I simply walk in and request for one.
. Never got turned down.

Request one online - what's the worst that can happen? Your wife finds it, reads the attached price list and divorces you.

When I got my first ALS catalogue, many years ago, I was a bit put down by the fact that if I'd save up for quite some time, I could just afford one of their buckles...
